MT4 Install Guide
20 Easy steps to get started.
Step 1. Click on: platform download button on the website page.
Step 2. Click on: RUN
Step 3. Click on: RUN
Step 4. Click on: CONTINUE
Step 5. Click on: X button in top right hand corner to exit the website page
Step 6. Scroll down the list to select the setup language. Then press the NEXT button
Step 7. Set up program. Click on the Next button after reading the notice.
Step 8. In the next window check the "Yes, …" box if you agree with the terms of the license agreement. Then press the Next button:
Step 9. Select data path and press the Next button:
Step 10. Then choose program group and press the Next button
Step 11. Press the Next button to install MetaTrader 4 on your computer:
Step 12. Installation is in process
Step 13. Once MetaTrader 4 has been installed you can launch it by clicking the "Launch FXSALT" box. Then press the Finish button:
Step 14. To launch MetaTrader 4 you can click on "Start/Programs/FXSALT/FXSALT" or on its desktop icon. First-time MetaTrader 4 users will be prompted to fill in the application form to open a demo account.
Those, who already trade via MetaTrader 4, can open a demo account anytime by selecting the "File->Open an Account" item from the MetaTrader 4 menu. Then fill in the application form to open a demo account as shown above. After choosing your preferred leverage size and deposit value, click the "I agree to subscribe to your newsletters" box to produce a check mark and press the Next button.
Step 15. Select a more suitable trading server - press the Next button.
Step 16. Your account is now open – please make a note of all your registration details. If your account is inactive for 30 days it is automatically deleted by our server.
Step 17. Click on finish to leave you with the trading platform. If some prices are not fully visible then click and drag the trading platform slightly to the right. If a box appears stating that – this program might not have installed correctly – then click on the text: This program installed correctly.
Step 18. The live update box will appear. Click on the start button.
Step 19. Live update will install the update.
Step 20. The live update download complete box will appear. Click the update and restart button. Your platform will close and reopen. You are now ready to start trading.
